Description: This Taxonomy is intended to allow Profit-Oriented entities, other than those writing General or Life Insurance Contracts or engaged in the Exploration for or Evaluation of Mineral resources, to prepare XBRL-based Australian Annual Reports according to the requirements of Australian Accounting Standards (equivalent to IFRS), the Corporations Act 2001, and the annual reporting requirements of the Australian Stock Exchange. This includes, but is not limited to, consolidated publicly listed entities, parent entity financial statements, and non-consolidated entities.

It is recommended that you unzip all files into a new folder on your local drive and then delete the zip file (some products have been known to exhibit odd behaviour when the zip file remains). The schema file to open (in either version) is "au-ifrs-gp-2006-03-17.xsd" as this imports the other schema files for IFRS elements.
